NorCal Olds has been selected to host the 2011 Oldsmobile Club of America National Meet, to be held July 27-31, 2011.
A contract has been signed with the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino in Reno, Nevada for the event. Rooms will start at $69/night. RV parking is available next to the hotel. A daily event schedule has been established. Off-site tours of Reno attractions have been contracted and scheduled. A brochure describing the event has been created and will be widely circulated. Sponsors and donations are being sought. Tie-In with Hot August Nights! The 2011 Nationals are being held one week before Hot August Nights. This is a huge event that has drawn over 80,000 people "where the cars are the stars and rock 'n roll rules." It is likely that many Olds lovers will want to stay a bit longer and also experience this "blast from the past" which celebrates the happy days of the 50's and 60's.
